In March, Central Okanagan Search and Rescue lost their most recognized and valued member of the team in K9 “Chase.”

The loss of Chase has been felt in the COSAR team, the provincial SAR community and in the local Regional District of Central Okanagan community that Chase served. In memorium of Chase, and with donations received from the community, COSAR is sponsoring the “Earring” trail in Chase’s name located in Myra Bellevue Provincial park. 

To commemorate this sponsorship and celebrate Chase, please join COSAR July 25,2024 at 6:00pm at the Steward Road East parking lot of Myra Bellevue Provincial Park for a hike, run, or ride on the Earring Trail followed by a bbq and celebration of Chase and the COSAR volunteers.
