Last night, COSAR president Brad Trites recognized two of the team’s hardest working members with Member of the Year awards. 

Astrid Kneipp (right) has been with search and rescue for 22 years, has ridden pretty much every ATV trail in the interior, and has saved countless lives. 

Dog handler Terry Downs has spent more than 6,000 hours training our K9 team and is usually the first one to respond when a neighbouring team asks for mutual aid.
