COSAR was called out this afternoon to rescue two teenage girls near Crawford Falls. 

The two made it into the canyon but lost the trail and got cliffed out.

RCMP were first on the scene and gave the subjects water, which they had failed to bring with in the 38°C temperature.

COSARs rope team attended but it was decided that the Kelowna Fire Department’s team would extract the subjects and we would serve as back up.

The task was completed at 4:30
